6 Makara Dam
6 Makara Dam is man-made site located in Kbal Bei village, Tipor commune, Santuk district about 28km from provincial town and about 13km from cultural and natural Phnom Santuk site when travel beyond 2km from Phnom Santuk site then turn left on red road about 6000m along with canal on both sides to the 6 Makara. This area is a hydraulies system constructed in 1978 during Pol Pot regime and restored in 2018 by the current Royal Government. This area is very popular for local tourist. They always go to visit there on weekend day and other vocation day off for relaxing, fresh air, and eating local food with the fresh landscape and swimming, boat riding and fishing.
