Andet Temple

Prasat Andet is a late 7th-century Hindu temple located in Kampong Svay District, 27 km northwest of Kampong Thom provincial town.Built under King Jayavarman I in the Kampong Preah architectural style, this single brick, laterite, and sandstone tower sits atop a 5.3-meter-tall man-made hill facing east. It was dedicated to Harihara—a deity combining Shiva and Vishnu.The temple famously housed a masterpiece statue of Harihara, which has since been moved to the National Museum in Phnom Penh for preservation.
