
Prasat Kuh Nokor or KuhNoKor Temple

Kuk Nokor Temple Kuk Nokor Temple is located in Tradak Pong Village, Pong Commune, Taing Kok District, 79 km from the provincial capital on National Road No. 6, turn right 2 km. Kuk Nokor Temple is built on flat land, rectangular in shape, made of sandstone and sandstone, facing east and surrounded by a wall. The wall is 35 meters long (east to west) and 25 meters wide (north to south). The wall is 2 meters high and 0.8 meters thick, with two gateways or gopuras. The eastern gopura is 9 meters high and divided into three rooms, and the western one has a small quadrangular gopura. In the eastern temple there are two ponds: a small pond 3 meters deep, 45 meters long, and 20 meters wide, and a large pond 160 meters long, 88 meters wide, and over 1 meter deep. This temple was built in the 10th-11th century during the reign of King Suryavarman I (1002-1050 AD) in the Khleang style, dedicated to Lord Shiva.
