Indrisamvora Pagoda (Wat Kampong Thom)

Wat Indrisamvora, also known as Wat Kampong Thom, is located in Kdei village, Prey Tahu commune, Steung Sen town, about 1 kilometer from the provincial town on the national road 6. It was built 17th century by Oknha Decho Boran Rachea called Ta Krahamka. This pagoda was selected for tourism attraction, because it is better criteria such as: beautiful, good environment, sanitation, large place, different gateways and architectural buildings constructed by Khmer style and there are infrastructures like Bali building, library, Buddhist temple, house for Buddhist monks, eating house and displaying the ox cart, palm boat etc. The pagoda has also the holy place, education site of both Buddha and empire powers. It is a place for visitors to relax and visit, especially during festivals.
